Family Nights are offered several times a year and are centered around a Biblical theme. Families come together to experience a bible story or theme through drama, games, crafts, and music.

 

Advent Fair, offered near Christmas, offers a wide variety of activities and projects.

 

Lenten Fair, offered near Easter, is designed for parents and children to experience together. It is a time to learn about the season of Lent and to make crafts serving as reminders of the season.

 

In the fall, children starting Kindergarten are presented with their own Bible Story Book. Children and parents are encouraged to grow together in knowledge and understanding of God’s love for God’s people, reading it together.

 

During the third grade year, children are presented with their own Bible. Parents give the Bible to their children to symbolize the passing on of the faith. Students are encouraged to use this Bible at home and to bring it to Church School.

 

This is a fun, interactive learning event that coincides with the third graders receiving their new bible. Through crafts, drama, music, and snacks families get an overview of the Bible.

 

Addictive Disease Awareness is a one-hour session for third and fourth graders.

 

Human Sexuality Course is a four-week series for fifth graders, to offer the opportunity for them to look at their God-given sexuality in a Christian context.

 

Early First Communion is a workshop for parents and children to experience the wonder of holy communion together. It is intended for children younger than fifth grade whose parents feel they are ready to take First Communion.
