Pastor Tom Grevlos was born and raised in Sioux Falls, S.D. He attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls and graduated with a B.A. in History in 1979. Following graduation he worked as a Youth Director in Porterville, CA. before entering seminary at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from seminary in 1986 and received his first call to New Hope Lutheran in Missouri City, Tx. as Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry. After nearly five years serving at New Hope he took a call to Prince of Peace Lutheran in Addison, IL. where he served for six years. Pastor Tom was called by the ELCA to begin a church in The Woodlands, TX. in 1996. He served as a Mission Developer Pastor at Spirit of Joy! for six years before receiving a call to Our Saviour’s in June 2002.
Pastor Tom loves ministry in the local church because of the diversity of people, opportunities, and challenge. He feels passionate about proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed, always seeking to inspire the congregation to “dream new dreams”. Pastor Tom is married to Jeanne and they have one son, Tommy. His hobbies include sports (golf, basketball, tennis), music, reading, and spending time with his family.
